Hello! We are Vyacheslav Stoyanov and Yana Melamed from Bulgaria. For the last eleven months we are traveling on our bicycles in North America and did more than 14,000 miles. We have been in 21 states in USA, 6 provinces in Canada and 4 states in Mexico. Still we have 2 years more on the road, 23 countries more to visit and 26,000 miles to cycle.
We have a project which is called "Cycle for Recycle" and our aim is to do something good for the society and the planet, while exploring all countries from the Arctic ocean to Tierra del fuego. Our website is: www.cycle4recycle.com .

Simply, we are trying to save the beautiful world we have as it is and encourage people to have an active life. On the road we are stopping in cities and making presentations about our trip, our mission and sharing all the useful information a self-supported traveler needs to travel. That includes all beautiful places we have visit so far, all the great roads we have been cycled and how we are surviving with 3 $ per day (for both of us). Motivating and inspiring people with our story from the life on two wheels. Hoping to see more people encouraged to start chasing their dreams!

"I've been traveling for almost seven years and have visited a lot of different countries in the world. I've seen luxury and misery. Nevertheless, the most uncomfortable thing for me was the low culture and consumerism, which are responsible for harming the nature and polluting our planet." Slav (Vyacheslav Stoyanov)

In June 2015 Vyacheslav Stoyanov and Yana Melamed began a cycling expedition from Alaska to Argentina to explore how people view the culture of consumption in the Americas. This trip is creating a web of people all around the world who already are using the bicycle as a way of transportation and engaging more and more new people to start following their example, to begin sharing their activities and projects related to bicycle riding and recycling in their own country.

Cycling is a small step towards being healthy and moving around in an environmentally sound and inspiring way. The Cycle4Recycle Team believe that regardless of where you are, the important thing is how wide your eyes are open for life. Ultimately, great deeds are achieved by ordinary people.

“Cycle for Recycle” is the change we want to encourage in people with our personal example.
